This policy explains what personal information Cartolem (“Cartolem”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit cartolem.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order information — your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the products you buy.
- Account information — if you create an account: your login details, saved addresses and order history.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and cookies (see below).
How we use it
- to process, ship and support your orders and to send order and shipping emails;
- to answer your questions and handle returns;
- to prevent fraud and keep the store secure;
- to improve our website and products;
- to send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with trusted service providers who help us run the store:
- our fulfilment partner in the United States, which produces, packs and ships your order (name, shipping address, phone and order contents);
- shipping carriers such as USPS and FedEx;
- payment processors;
- website hosting, email delivery and analytics providers.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your bag and account working, and optional analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features of the store may then stop working.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Contact form messages are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at support@cartolem.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
